Sunday Mornings

Nursery

9:00 & 10:45

Childcare is offered to children every Sunday morning during each worship service for children birth through 2 years. We have a loving nursery staff who show Jesus’ love through the care given to each child. We ask that your child be fever-free for at least 24 hours before bringing him/her to our nursery.

Next Steps Preschool

9:00 & 10:45

Next Steps Preschool is for preschoolers up through age 4. The children participate in Bible lessons from Rock Solid Curriculum. Lessons are taught with various mediums to enhance learning and retention. Parents are given information about the lesson and are encouraged to talk to their children about what they learned to reinforce the story and concepts.

9:00 K-5th graders

10:45 K-3rd graders

Engaging in Bible stories shared in a variety of ways, children will learn through the stimulation of their imagination and class participation. As children enter their classroom they will be greeted by their teacher and classmates and get started right away on an opening activity. Each week children will focus on a Scripture, a Bible concept, and a catechism question. Children will be learning at an age appropriate level with fun and engaging activities that will help them to understand God’s truth while also growing their friendships with mature Christian adults and their peers.

Bible Zone!

Birth - 4 year olds

6:30-7:30pm

At Bible Zone preschoolers learn interactively with our Bible Zone LIVE! curriculum. These lessons are very fun and help the children to learn and remember Bible truths through various mediums. For example, the Christmas unit includes the children experiencing the Nativity with a stable and not-quite-life-size “animals.” Parents are given information about the lesson each week and are encouraged to talk to their children and do the suggested activities with them to reinforce what they have learned.

YAP

2nd - 5th Graders

5:45-6:30pm

YAP is for any 2nd - 5th graders who want to participate in a choir & dance group. Every six weeks we will learn either a dance or a song to then later perform in worship.

KIDMO

K - 3rd Graders

6:30-7:30

KIDMO is a high energy, relationship building, out of this world experience. Through a fun media adventure, games, crafts, snacks, and Biblical application to kid’s lives, we are sure to see kids transformed by Jesus!

TWEENS

4th & 5th Graders

6:30-7:30pm

All 4th & 5th graders are invited to our Tweens Youth Group. Come and enjoy hang time with your friends, games, a snack, and Bible study time. With parent permission you can also join our supervised online community where you can vote for your favorite games to play each week, talk with your friends, and much more!

VBS

3 years - 5th Graders

The last week of June is always reserved for OPC’s fun filled, high energy, fantastic VBS adventure. Make sure to block out this week because your kids will not want to miss it! Come and enjoy snacks, awesome praise songs, games, Bible adventures, and crafts! We want you to invite all your friends so start now!

Upward basketball & cheerleading

1st - 6th Graders

Would your child like equal playing time? Upward Basketball and Cheerleading is a league where every child plays, every child learns, and every child is a winner! Upward defines winning as learning and/or teaching lessons in the game of life. The emphasis is placed on having fun and good sportsmanship. Registration begins in the fall, practices start the last week of November, and games begin in January. For registration information and dates please contact our church office.

Preschool Playhouse

Birth - 5 Year Olds

This outreach ministry is for any preschool child and at least one parent. Children are invited to come and play while their parents fellowship with each other and play with their children. Different stations are provided for play including: stations using gross and fine motor skills, reading, crafts and games. A snack is also provided. This group meets on specified Friday mornings.
