Infant and toddler nurseries are available to care for your children during education hour and worship. The nurseries are equipped with windows for your reassurance and you are welcome to visit at any time during the service. Children age 4 and younger receive the attention of dedicated adults and youth volunteers in the Great Room with a focus on learning centers. Our childcare centers are located across the narthex from the sanctuary; ask any usher or greeter for directions and they will escort you.
Your children's safety is our highest concern and all our volunteers are trained and screened. You will be required to sign your children into the area and they will not be released until you return for them and sign them out. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask Gerrie Hobbs, who oversees the rooms, Stephanie Van Ornum, the Children's Ministry Director or any volunteer.
If you prefer to care for your children yourself outside the sanctuary, we have a family room for your use. Make yourself comfortable in rocking chairs while you tend to your children. It is connected to the sanctuary with darkened glass and is equipped with sound and video so you will not miss the worship experience while enjoying the privacy you desire. Ask any usher or greeter for help in finding it. They will be happy to escort you.
