Opportunity Manor
Opportunity Manor was conceived as a community outreach mission by OPC in 1985. The Manor was organized as a non-profit corporation under the Washington Non-Profit Corportation Act with the purpose of prividing houseing for low income elderly citizens. Construction of the 40 unit facility was completely in late 1989 with financing provided under Section 202 of the National Housing Act. All of the tenants, with the exception of the resident manager, receive rental subsidies under the terms of a Housing Assistance payment contract with the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
OPC is blessed to have this opportunity to helpothers in our community who are less fortunate. May God continue to bless and guide OPC in this very important mission outreach.
